Your donation allows us to help injured wildlife and maintain their care and rehabilitation. We do not receive money from the county or state for the animals.

The average cost for care varies and can include surgery, testing and medications that add up quickly-

A minor injury is about $100

Moderate to severe $250+

Sick $400+

We provide care for 600 - 750 reptiles and amphibians per year! You can see how fast the cost of care adds up and why we need your support!

Bloodwork $100, Blood cultures/ bacterial testing $110

Mycoplasma (URTD) $70, Anaplasma $100, Helicobacter $50,

Herpesvirus and Ranavirus $60, Heavy metal testing $30,

Necropsy is preformed if succumb to diseases $80,

Turtle Fraservirus $55, Surgical or Biopsy $300-500+

This does not include shipping costs, testing supplies, antibiotics, fluids, pain medications and other treatments that may be necessary.
